The Government of Jamaica through the Ministry with responsibility for sport has provided a Sport Registry for the registration of national athletes, coaches and sport associations/federations.

National athletes and coaches living in Jamaica and overseas are invited to register.

To use the Jamaica National Sport Registry, registrants are required to create a user account and then complete the registration forms. To enroll in any programme offered by the Ministry, registrants are first required to join the registry. The user registration is free of charge.

Benefits to registrants include but are not limited to:

• The development of programmes, projects and policies to assist with their development and well-being.
• To track the level of support provided by the Government of Jamaica.
• Develop and package sport as a national domestic and international trade product.
• Create an enabling environment to facilitate the development of the sport industry.
• Strengthen the availability and use of information planning in the development of the sport sector.
